Using Hostled
Hostled is a reporting and expense-management platform for short-term rental operators. You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of the information you upload, and the actions taken through your login.
Account Responsibility
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You may not share access in a way that bypasses your plan limits or otherwise abuses the service.
- We may suspend or terminate access if we detect fraud, misuse, or activity that creates security risk.
Plans, Trials, and Renewals
Paid plans may include limits, fair-use thresholds, or feature restrictions as displayed in the app or on the pricing page. Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. You authorize recurring charges when you subscribe to a paid plan until cancellation takes effect.
AI Output and Review
Hostled may use automated extraction and classification features to parse receipts, bills, and uploaded documents. AI output is provided for convenience and should be reviewed before relying on it for accounting, tax filing, compliance, or legal decisions.
- You remain responsible for checking vendors, dates, amounts, categories, and allocations.
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated output is error-free, complete, or suitable for every use case.
- You should consult qualified accounting, tax, or legal professionals where needed.
Your Data
You retain ownership of the data you upload to Hostled, including receipts, CSVs, PDFs, notes, and account data. You grant Hostled a limited right to store, process, transmit, back up, and display that data only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
Acceptable Use
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with service availability.
- No unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or deceptive use.
- No attempts to bypass billing, quotas, user isolation, or security controls.
- No uploading malware, credential-harvesting content, or material intended to harm other users.
Service Changes
We may update, improve, restrict, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We may also modify pricing, features, plan limits, and product design. Where required, we will provide notice before material billing-related changes take effect.
No Professional Advice
Hostled is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hostled disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Hostled does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice.
Limits on Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hostled and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service. Any direct liability will be limited to the amount you paid to Hostled in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
Termination
You may stop using Hostled at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the platform, or use the service in a way that harms Hostled or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including billing obligations already incurred, disclaimers, and liability limitations.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of Hostled after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
